The Jesse Tree Project is a way of telling the story of God’s plan from the beginning of time to redeem His people by sending a Savior.  It follows the lineage of key people in the Old Testament that God uses to tell His story from Creation through Christ’s birth.  It is a daily December countdown to Christmas Day through the telling of a story, and the creation of an ornament that acts as a symbol and visual reminder.

As a family in your home each day, you're invited to light a candle and read the day's story below. In addition to this, we also provide a daily, printable ornament that you can decorate and hang on their own Jesse Tree, or they can bring them to church on Sunday and hang them on our parish Jesse Tree that's in the Narthex. Feel free to speak with Mother Marcia if you would like more information about the history and tradition of The Jesse Tree.
