WOCC Fellowship, Volunteering, and Fundraising​

A monthly WOCC meeting is held on the first Monday of each month, except during our summer break in July and August. In December, there is no formal meeting, but we do celebrate with our annual Christmas dinner at a local restaurant, and many people attend this popular gathering. The WOCC also hosts an annual outing for parishioners, their families, and friends at Toby’s Dinner Theatre – the date and performance are announced each summer or fall, and everyone is welcome to join us. It is always a wonderful evening of culture, friendship, and great food. ​​Survivor’s Sunday is recognized by the WOCC in many different ways to remember those we have lost. ​We also host Hats On for Mother's Day, wearing our favorite hats to honor all mothers and mother figures in our lives.

Members of WOCC assist with outreach in various ways - some provide lunch for Grassroots in Howard County each month, while others contribute to our Home Sweet Home initiative. Many other outreach activities also take place throughout the year. The annual Flea Market and Craft Fair, held in September, helps support our ministry and the church. This event, which has been running for nearly thirty years, is our most significant money-making endeavor.
