Guild
Christ Church Altar Guild is a vital part of our parish life and worship.
We are comprised of faithful teams, working according to a well-organized schedule centered around the weekly Eucharistic services, special liturgical events, and other occasions.
​Each week, teams of two or three Altar Guild members prepare all of the elements needed to set the altar for the upcoming Sunday service. They clean and polish the communion vessels, prepare the Lay Eucharistic Visitors communion sets, replace the sanctuary candle, clean and iron the linens, put up the hymn numbers, as well as other tasks to ensure that the services run smoothly.

Patens, ciborium, lavabo bowls, purificators, chalices, burses, palls, and corporals are just a few of the many items for which the Christ Church Altar Guild cares.
In addition to the Altar Guild’s regular Sunday duties, the members also began preparing the altar for Holy Week services, weddings, and funerals.
