Youth Formation:
Our Mission
​
The Christ Church Youth Faith Formation aims to provide the youth of our community a safe, caring, and nurturing environment, in which they can build positive and supportive relationships, grow strong in their faith, and practice serving others. We support a vibrant youth ministry that offers opportunities throughout the school year for youth to learn together, serve others, and have fun!

This is a program offered to all children and youth (preschool - 12th grade) that’s designed to develop and enrich their spiritual lives and deepen their relationship with God. Throughout the year, we will offer Bible-based teachings and also have time to explore some of the interests and/or issues our younger parishioners face. It’s an important program that’s relevant and engaging for everyone.

Confirmation
This is a very special occasion for the youth who were baptized at an early age to make a public affirmation of their faith in God, recommit themselves to their vows of baptism, and receive the laying on of hands by the Bishop. The confirmation candidates will explore promises made on their behalf at baptism, their roles in those promises going forward, and the teachings and history of The Episcopal Church. CEC clergy and staff will be teaching the lessons. Confirmation will be May, 2024 when the Bishop visits CEC! Active participation and prayers are vital and appreciated!

CEC Youth Group
The goal of the Christ Church Youth Group Program is to provide the youth of our community with a safe and caring environment in which they can build positive loving relationships, grow strong in their faith, and practice serving others. We support a vibrant youth ministry that offers opportunities throughout the school year. A large part of Christ Church Youth Group includes trips, outreach, social gatherings, and holiday events. They will also participate in various Diocesan events and can invite their friends to join us for fun.
