at Christ Church
No one is a stranger at Christ Church. We welcome all of our brothers and sisters in Christ, regardless of race, gender, economic status, marital status, or age. We welcome believers and questioners. We welcome those who celebrate regularly, and those who are new. This is a place where you can celebrate and mourn, rejoice and recover. This is a place where lives are renewed.
Similar to a school calendar, our regular Sunday schedule gets scaled back during the summer months. Instead of three services, we have our two Sunday worship services in the New Brick sanctuary, so join us at either 8:00 a.m. (no music) or 10:30 a.m. (with music). Sunday School, Adult Formation, and other programs also are on break until Sunday, September 8th.

Christ Church Nursery
Throughout the year, Christ Church’s nursery provides a safe environment for the youngest parishioners in our nursery. We have a dedicated staff that runs the nursery from 9 a.m. – 12:00 noon. The nursery is available to all children aged 6 months to preschool and is located in the lower level of New Brick. Email us if you have any questions.
Christ Church's Worship Schedule
from September to May
8 a.m. in Old Brick
Join us for a quiet Sunday morning Eucharist in historic and refreshed Old Brick. This is an intimate service without music or singing.

Old Brick, the oldest church building still in use in Howard County, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
9 a.m. Family Worship
This special Christ Church service provides an accessible opportunity for children and families to worship together. It's a 30-minute service in our New Brick Sanctuary with a children's homily and communion, and a great opportunity for every child to actively participate.
This is the principal Sunday service at Christ Church, a Holy Eucharist complete with choir and organ accompaniment.

9:00 a.m. Children & Family Worship
9:30 a.m. Children and Youth Formation
Sunday School for children begins immediately after the Children and Family service. Children will meet in the classrooms adjoining the Great Hall, and older youth will gather in the Youth Room of the Parish Hall. Registration links are on our Youth Formation page.
9:30 a.m. Sunday Morning Bible Study
This group meets in the Parish Hall Conference Room for reflection and discussion of varying subjects.
9:30 a.m. Sunday Circle
This group meets in Old Brick and offers discussions on scripture, theology, Church history, stewardship, and other topics that impact our Christian lives and deepen our spirituality. You can learn more about Sunday Circle and view discussion materials here.
9:30 a.m. Christ Church Parenting Group
This is a gathering of parents to share the joys and challenges of parenthood. There will be a variety of resources and presentations that are used to enrich the depth of our parenting skills. This group will also serve as a support system for one another. We meet in the New Brick Vestry Room (lower level).
10:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist with music in New Brick
2:00 p.m. Confirmation Class
(start date, fall 2024)
This class is for all those who seek to be Confirmed, Received into the Episcopal Church, or wish to Reaffirm their faith. It is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the Christian faith and the Episcopal Church. Speak with Father Manny or call the Church Office if you're interested in joining us for this class.
