WOCC's March News and Events

Hi!

This is the last week to bring in your hats, scarves and gloves for The Seafarers organization.  They will be delivered in the coming week.  Thank you to all who have contributed.  

Attention all women and families!  To celebrate Women’s History Month and  Maryland Day, we will be taking a day trip to London Town and Gardens on Saturday March 23th from 10:15-1:00. 

This event includes:

10:30am-Historic Area Tour

11:00am-Hands-on Activity 

11:30am- Gardens tour 

12:30pm-The African American Experience in London Town.

Our plan is to meet at London Town and Gardens at 10:15am. However, if anyone wants to carpool, they can meet at church. For those who cannot join us in the morning, there will be a repeat of all of the tours and  the activity starting at 1pm.  We are encouraging you to join us at 12:30 so we can all do the African American Experience together. The best news…this is all free!!! Finally, our April meeting will be a dinner out!  We will be having our meeting and dinner on Monday, April 1st at 6:30pm at the Frisco Tap House in Columbia.  We welcome all the women of Christ Church to join for a wonderful time of fellowship.
