Lenten Meditation : Our Christ Church Family is a Joy to Others

I give thanks for and to the many people at Christ Church, whose friendship and support have been a comfort to me over the years but never so much as this past year.  Your prayers, cards, calls, and caring have not just sustained me during a year of medical procedures and treatments. You have been sources of joy and evidence of God’s love. Even before the Spiritual Life Commission had decided upon this as the theme for the year, you were a joy - not only to me but to many others. The efforts made here and elsewhere by the Christ Church family, including our clergy and staff, bring happiness to people assisted by the labor and the in-kind and monetary contributions that our church gives to so many.

What a blessing to know so many givers of joy!
