Friday at Christ Church - Tonight

Taizé in Old Brick - 6:00 p.m.

A few Sundays ago, our former music director, Len, gave us all a taste of the riches of the French monastic community of Taizé, known for its chants and prayer style. If you were drawn to this contemplative liturgy of music and prayer, then come and join Mother Marcia in Old Brick this Friday evening, June 24th, from 6-7 p.m. for an early summer Taizé worship service! Come and complete your hectic week with a calming hour of chanting, silence, Scripture, and prayer, and immerse yourself in the peace of the Holy Spirit. Feed your senses with candlelight, stillness, and music. We hope to see you there!

CEC Book Club Returns! - 7:30 p.m.

The CEC Book Club has returned and will gather virtually every Friday at 7:30 p.m. We are about to begin the discussion of a new book and always enjoy having new people join our virtual gathering, so if you enjoy curling up with an insightful read and discussing it with others, join us! The book we are about to begin is Radical Hospitality: Benedict's Way of Love by Lonni Collins Pratt and is available at all the usual booksellers.
