For generations, we've all known that food brings people together, and that was most definitely the case today with the members of Christ Church!

The MOCC Breakfast, a cherished monthly tradition at Christ Church, brought members and others of all ages together this morning at the Silver Diner in Columbia. The event offered a wonderful opportunity for the community to kick start their weekend with a delicious breakfast paired with warm conversation, plus a bonus purpose - to celebrate Marquis Barnes' birthday.

Happy Birthday, Marquis!

Later that same morning, the WOCC Summer Tea kicked off, keeping the weekend's spirit of community alive. This beloved annual event brought the WOCC together with other family and friends for a delightful afternoon of tea and shared conversation, with many taking part in the festivities.
Together, these back-to-back Saturday events beautifully showcase the vibrant, multigenerational fellowship that defines the common life of Christ Church, offering unique spaces for parishioners to connect, refresh, and strengthen their bonds outside of regular Sunday worship.
