Christ Church: RENEW

Moving Forward Together in the COVID-19 Era

Dear Friends,

First and foremost, we at Christ Episcopal Church hope that you are all staying safe and healthy, and taking care of one another during this difficult time in our world.

I'd like to share with you that I have been working with Episcopal Diocese of Maryland, the Christ Church Wardens, and our Buildings and Grounds Committee in order to determine the best way, when that time comes, that we can approach the re-opening of Christ Episcopal Church for in-person worship.

We've created this page on our website for you to visit any time you may be looking for information about our ongoing discussion processes, or for the latest updates from the Diocese of Maryland, as well as the many-faceted ideas that we are reviewing for this spring and summer, ideas that will - first and foremost - ensure the safety of all who join us for worship and fellowship.

We invite you to please fill out the survey that's below.  This will assist us in learning how those in our parish family (and those who are interested in joining us in worship and fellowship) view the future possibilities and potential realities of gathering together at Christ Church. Additionally, if you have specific questions related to Christ Church and COVID-19, or wish us to consider something that is not already in the provided materials, you are welcome to leave those questions and/or concerns in the short form at the bottom of this page.

This is the beginning of our new future, and many new decisions and considerations must be made, both prayerfully and practically.  We look forward to moving ahead so that we can gather together once again, but must do so in a safe, lawful, compassionate, and intelligent manner, and in accordance with the guidelines laid out for us by the State of Maryland and Howard County.

Thank you for taking the time to read through our information. I appreciate your input and support, and send my best wishes to you all.

~Manny

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is  — his good, pleasing and perfect will.
