Lenten Meditation: The Rope

God’s rope,

Extended to me

From Heaven,

Is long

And has

A variety of knots

Attached to it,

Still warm

From my hopeful grasp.

They are very strong

And very tight

Resembling greatly

The strength

I have gained

While

Holding On.
