Lenten Meditation for Today : The Good News

God drapes His Eternal Heaven

On my mortal body

In hopes that

It might know peace.

His warming sun

On my fragile face

Protects it

From a world

Of coldness.

And those all-seeing stars,

Both day and night,

Keep the worries

Of Forever

From blinding

My soul.

Wearing the Good News

Looks well on me.
