Lenten Meditation for Today: The Dove
Life can be
As simple
As
Loving to watch
The doves
Soar
In the air
Above me,
Their wings
Beckoning me
To join
The play.
What
Was it like
To rise
Higher
Than the world
Those years ago
To bring
Us
God’s promise
Of love?
I only know
That when
I look
Up
At them,
I believe,
For a moment
That I
Could learn
To fly.
