The Jesse Tree Project is a way of telling the story of God’s plan from the beginning of time to redeem His people by sending a Savior. It follows the lineage of key people in the Old Testament that God uses to tell His story from Creation through Christ’s birth. It is a daily countdown to Christmas Day through the telling of a story, and an ornament that acts as a symbol and visual reminder.
As a family in your home each day, you're invited to light a candle, and to either read the day's story below or watch a special video from Mother Marcia that's published on our Facebook page each weekday. In addition to this, we also provide a daily, printable ornament that your child can decorate and hang on their own Jesse Tree, or they can bring them to church on Sunday and hang them on our parish Jesse Tree that's in the Narthex.
