Holy WeekDuring the month of July we will continue our historical celebration with two events on the calendar.  The first is a visit from the Rev. Katrina Grusell on July 11th.  Katrina is presently Rector of Holy Apostles, Arbutus.  Katrina attended Christ Church and was our Parish Coordinator for several years prior to entering seminary.  Be sure to be with us at either service as we welcome Katrina back to Christ Church.  She will preach at both services.

The second of our Historical Liturgical Celebrations will take place on Sunday, July 25th in Old Brick.  The Sunday service schedule will be changed to 8:00am, 9:30am and 11:00am.  There will be music at the 9:30 & 11:00 am services. Each service will commemorate the giving of the silver flagon, chalice and paten we still use today.  They were first put in use in 1748 by our first Rector, the Rev. James MacGill.  All three services will be communion from the prayer book that was used at that time – the 1662 prayer book of the Church of England.

Come and be with us as we celebrate our past and look toward our future.

Sharing the Love of the Risen Christ,

Richard+
